Will’s Out of Surgery!

Posted by on Nov 27, 2012 in Updates | 14 Comments

A note from Angie…

Will made it out of surgery. The preliminary report is that they were able to remove all of the tumor and they were able to do so with clean margins, which is the best case scenario at this time.

Obviously, we’re just at the beginning of a long road to recovery. The future is uncertain, but right now we are celebrating this afternoon’s good news. We’ll be getting more information next week as a more conclusive pathology report comes back, and we’ll keep you posted about what we know as soon as we know it.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your love and support.  I don’t know how to thank people that have walked and are walking along side us in one of the darkest times in our lives or how to thank people who have prayed for my love’s life.  Please just know that my heart is overwhelmed with love and gratitude toward you all.

Love,

Angie

Celebrating this first, and wildly crucial, step with the entire #GoTeamGray community. Thank you ALL for your prayers, kind words and positive thoughts!

More updates to come…

508295 574337An fascinating discussion is worth comment. I believe that you require to write much more on this matter, it might not be a taboo subject but generally individuals are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers 788512

    Hi Will & Angie,

Our hearts are heavy thinking about all the battles you’ve been fighting, but each time we pray for you we’re reminded that our God is victorious and He is shielding you from all sides. My (Patricia here) mom and I were on our knees the night before Will’s surgery, praying for God to give the doctors steady and healing hands and we’re relieved to read your update. (: In Christ we’re sending you lots of love and peace.

Praying for more good news to come,
    P&C

Been praying since I heard the news. You’ve got friends in New England if you ever need anything more tangible.

I just listened to Rankin’s sermon from 11/18 because I am a visitor to PCC. I was so inspired by the story, that I had to come here and see what happened since today was the day of the surgery! Thank God that it sounds like good news so far! AMEN!!!
