Will – Update // Procedures Today (A Note From Angie)

From all of us that care so deeply for the Grays, we’re urging you all to stop and pray…

The latest note from Angie…

We wanted to update you all on an urgent matter and request your prayers, if you would like to pray.

Sunday morning Will was feeling extremely ill. Within a few minutes time, he began sweating profusely, he lost feeling in his legs, lost all strength, and passed out twice. It was quite terrifying. I called 911 and they took him to the emergency room. Once they got fluids in him, he was feeling a little better.

Yesterday morning the same thing started to happen. Will was able to lie down before he passed out and within about 15 minutes was able to get up and walk to the car with help, although he was still extremely weak. We came to the emergency room where they ran different tests most of the day to figure out what was going on.  Most of the tests came back clear, but they did a CT scan and found a small nodule in his lung.

We stayed in the ER from 9:30am to about 2:30am when he was admitted into the hospital.  He received fluids during that time and this morning he seemed to feel better.

Today they want to do two procedures. One, is to put in a feeding tube to make sure he gets all the nutrients and fluid his body needs right now.  He is unable to eat or drink without terrible pain.  Two, is to do a biopsy of the nodule. It is possible that it could be infection or scar tissue or something else. Worst case scenario, it could be that the cancer has metastasized.

Will was unable to go to radiation yesterday or today and it seems as though all of this will put radiation and chemotherapy on hold, but hopefully not for long.

If you would, would you please pray that the cancer has not spread that this nodule is something else or that it would no longer be there. Would you plead with God on our behalf. We are really scared and quite shocked by the news.  Would you also pray that the procedures go well today.  And, please pray that Will would be healed from all of this and that things would start getting better for him.

Thank you for walking with us.  Thank you for praying for us.

With love and hope,

Angie

On our knees,

#GoTeamGray

Lifting you up in prayer!! Let us all claim this verse – Ecclesiates 4:12 “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”
