The Latest from Arizona (An Update from Angie)

Again, here is a brief update translated through Angie’s text message. We hope it continues to paint the picture of dignity and beauty that both Will and Angie have conducted over these last 9 months.

Will wanted the tube out last night (Thursday). I was going to wait until Sunday.

He wasn’t able to talk so we communicated through him squeezing my hand.

He was very clear in wanting it out.

I asked the nurse [to remove it], but after 2 emergencies in other rooms it was 2:30am. We decided it was best to wait until morning.

At 8:30am (Friday morning), they removed the [breathing] tube.

It seemed like everyone was prepared for a very short time before he stopped breathing. He struggled for awhile.

It felt like an eternity.

I don’t really know how long it was.

They gave him lots of meds and he was able to relax. The staff has been ready all day for his passing, but Will has steadily improved. His heart rate is too low and his breathing rate is too high, but the numbers are very slowly improving.

Obviously, we don’t know how the next minutes, hours or days will unfold, but we trust that Will and Angie are enveloped in love and peace. Family is near, friends who are able to travel at such short notice have drawn close to their sides, and the #GoTeamGray community’s presence is felt at large as it continues to fill the room with love and prayers and offerings.

As Angie continued to write,

We are not giving up. Even as Will wanted the tube out, I told him I still believe he will be healed and he squeezed my hand that he did too. I want people to continue praying. We are not giving up hope. We pray constantly for healing…and peace and trust. I want people to continue with us in praying for healing.

Will, Angie, may you both feel the healing love, grace, peace and strength that surrounds you. For those of us that cannot be there, may you feel our presence and hear our continued prayers.

We will do our best to keep you all updated.

    Psalm 20
“May The Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May He send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion”

    A message for Angie
Humanity consider it normal to loose hope especially when hardships persist. I say to you, in as much as people bend towards what they want and label it NORMAL, it is not normal to loose hope and faith. Rejuvenate your strength in The Lord , be hopefully, have Faith and above all nomatter how hard this situation is for you and us , always thank Jehovah and Praise Him even when it seems like there is nothing at all to praise Him for. His Grace is sufficient in all situations.
    We love you and Will

…in prayer!! Your strength is encouraging!

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
