Prayer Requests (From Angie)
This week has been incredibly difficult and exhausting, emotionally and physically. It feels like we are tested at every turn, but we won’t get down. Our hope will not be stolen, nor our will to keep going.
Our doctors here are wonderful and one came by today to see Will. Will told him, “We want to do this. I can handle a lot. I’m not your average bear and there’s no amount of pain that will stop me. I want to do this. I have a strong drive and will in me. I just need help. Just tell me what I need to do.”
Two hours later these words were tested. Will was moving and heard a crack in his spine along with terrible pain. We called the paramedics and they transported him to a local hospital. We are now in the ER waiting to get imaging of his spine.
Whatever is going on right now will not get us down! We might get down for a minute, but it will not beat us. It cannot win.
I sure don’t want to ask for anything more, but I just feel like yelling, “We’re ready! If the Lord is with us, then do whatever! You can’t stop us!” We’re ready to fight with all we’ve got… and honestly that’s not much… but we believe that we have endless resources in our Lord. And he always provides abundantly in every way and wherever we are.
We were surrounded by love and support in LA and we find ourselves surrounded by love and support in Phoenix. We will not give up! The fight for Will’s life…. the fight for hope… the fight for faith!
We need help. We can’t do it alone, but the more difficulty we face, only stirs more of a fight in us.
Oh, Lord, help us. Please show your mercy.
